When I think of what it means to be a stay at home parent one of the things that I reluctantly think of is doing the household chores. I know that there are people out there that actually like to clean and in case you didn’t know the rest of the world thinks you are weird and would much rather be doing something else. I would much rather be doing countless other things but understand that having a clean home means less stress, especially when my son, Flynn, begins to crawl/walk. I knew that if I didn’t come up with some sort of cleaning schedule that it would be difficult for me to stay on top of things so this is the schedule that I made.
I created this schedule in excel and if you would like to download it for your own use you can do so by clicking the link below.

Obviously this schedule is not set in stone and I may add/change some of the items on the list but so far over the first few days of being a stay at home dad everything has gone quite well. It will be interesting to see how well things go over the course of the next couple of weeks! I will update this post at some point to let everyone know if I stuck to the schedule or had to change this up!
Do you see any obvious chores I left off the list?? Or do you have any thoughts on how I can combine chores to speed things up?? If so let me know by leaving a comment below!
