This is the 5th of 31 blog posts that I am going to write in 31 days.
1. I am optimistic. There is hardly a situation that I can’t find a positive in. I am sure that this optimism was forged when I was younger and went through some difficult times. I realized then that if I focused on all the negative things in my life I would be miserable so instead I decided to remain as positive as possible and focus on the good things that I still had in my life. This has carried over into my adult life and you will rarely find me being a negative person. If you do hear me being negative there is usually a great deal of sarcasm involved.
2. I am Self Confident. I think being a ginger and being tall helped me to develop my self confidence. These two physical attributes made it so I couldn’t easily blend into a crowd and that meant that people tended gravitate towards me, especially when I was younger. I learned pretty quickly to just be myself and to get along with most people. I also think this is why I may not be as outgoing as I would like. People have naturally gravitated towards me so instigating conversations with people I don’t know is not something I excel at.
3. I am polite. I already wrote about how I like to open doors for people in my post 50 Facts About Me and how this simple gesture goes a long way. I am also very much a “Please & Thank You!” person as well as say “Bless You” when someone sneezes. I could list for you the manners that I try and follow every day and that I wish to teach my son but I hope that you already understand what being polite means.
